# PlayScore 2 vs digitalScore

The clearest difference is rating: digitalScore at 4.6 against PlayScore 2's 4.1. digitalScore also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). PlayScore 2's advantage is chart position (#112 vs unranked) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 621). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayScore 2 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and digitalScore sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

digitalScore holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayScore 2 has 4.8K ratings behind it against 621, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of PlayScore 2's written reviews are positive against 44% of digitalScore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PlayScore 2 ships an update every 2 months, digitalScore every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
