# Fetch Resident vs State Cube

The clearest difference is rating: State Cube at 5.0 against Fetch Resident's 4.5. State Cube also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Fetch Resident's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

State Cube holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fetch Resident has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fetch Resident ships an update fortnightly, State Cube every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
