# TEFL vs Kudos Get Formal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kudos Get Formal at every 4 days against TEFL's every 2 months. Kudos Get Formal also leads on iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TEFL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Kudos Get Formal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TEFL ships an update every 2 months, Kudos Get Formal every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
