# Ghost vs Victory Guide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Victory Guide at none against Ghost's 10. Victory Guide also leads on ads (none vs shown). Ghost's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghost sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Victory Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

Victory Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
