# Catapult EMS vs EduHero

The clearest difference is rating: Catapult EMS at 2.6 against EduHero's 1.0. Catapult EMS also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1). EduHero's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Catapult EMS holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catapult EMS has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Catapult EMS's written reviews are positive against 50% of EduHero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Catapult EMS ships an update every 3 months, EduHero every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
