# Watch Case vs doublechin

The clearest difference is rating: doublechin at 5.0 against Watch Case's 4.2. doublechin also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). Watch Case's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Case sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and doublechin sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

doublechin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Case has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Watch Case's written reviews are positive against 100% of doublechin's.

Watch Case ships an update every 5 weeks, doublechin every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
