# AGentleman vs ScaleMan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AGentleman at 100% against ScaleMan's 45%. AGentleman also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). ScaleMan's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.6) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AGentleman sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ScaleMan asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScaleMan holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScaleMan has 2.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of AGentleman's written reviews are positive against 45% of ScaleMan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AGentleman ships an update every 2 months, ScaleMan every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
