# DittoChat vs Codync

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DittoChat at none against Codync's 1. DittoChat also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Codync's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 months) and chart position (#182 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codync sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. DittoChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DittoChat against 5.0 for Codync. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DittoChat has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DittoChat ships an update every 2 months, Codync daily. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
