# Port Control vs Traffix 3D

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Port Control at none against Traffix 3D's 9. Port Control also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (53% vs 25%). Traffix 3D's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 252). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Traffix 3D sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Port Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

Traffix 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Traffix 3D has 1.3K ratings behind it against 252, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Port Control's written reviews are positive against 25% of Traffix 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Port Control ships an update fortnightly, Traffix 3D monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
