# ReceiptJar vs Pollyn

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pollyn at 100% against ReceiptJar's 23%. Pollyn also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). ReceiptJar's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pollyn sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. ReceiptJar asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceiptJar holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReceiptJar has 64K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of ReceiptJar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pollyn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReceiptJar ships an update every 4 days, Pollyn every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
