# The Scheduling App vs V2

The clearest difference is monetization model: The Scheduling App at free against V2's freemium. The Scheduling App also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). V2's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Scheduling App has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of The Scheduling App's written reviews are positive against 100% of V2's.

The Scheduling App ships an update weekly, V2 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
