# SageReload vs Cabela's

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SageReload at 80% against Cabela's's 49%. SageReload also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Cabela's's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (29K vs 27). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cabela's holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cabela's has 29K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of SageReload's written reviews are positive against 49% of Cabela's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SageReload ships an update every 5 days, Cabela's fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
