# SageReload vs Scheels

The clearest difference is rating: Scheels at 4.9 against SageReload's 4.4. Scheels also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 27). SageReload's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scheels holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scheels has 14K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of SageReload's written reviews are positive against 58% of Scheels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SageReload ships an update every 5 days, Scheels every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
