# Rammstein vs Tool Band

The clearest difference is ads: Rammstein at none against Tool Band's shown. Rammstein also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (62 vs 8). Tool Band's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Rammstein against 4.5 for Tool Band. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rammstein has 62 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Rammstein's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tool Band's.

Rammstein ships an update every 2 months, Tool Band every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
