# PlayMetrics vs Salt Strike

The clearest difference is rating: Salt Strike at 5.0 against PlayMetrics's 4.0. Salt Strike also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). PlayMetrics's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 5) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Salt Strike holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayMetrics has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
