# CCTV Viewer vs UGREEN NAS

The clearest difference is price: UGREEN NAS at Free against CCTV Viewer's $2.99. UGREEN NAS also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (312 vs 16). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

UGREEN NAS is free to download; CCTV Viewer costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UGREEN NAS holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UGREEN NAS has 312 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of CCTV Viewer's written reviews are positive against 53% of UGREEN NAS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CCTV Viewer ships an update every 5 weeks, UGREEN NAS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
