# Values Discovery vs VisualMind

The clearest difference is rating: VisualMind at 4.5 against Values Discovery's 3.0. VisualMind also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 3). Values Discovery's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (50% vs 23%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisualMind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days. Values Discovery asks for nothing beyond the download.

VisualMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisualMind has 3.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Values Discovery's written reviews are positive against 23% of VisualMind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Values Discovery ships an update every 9 months, VisualMind every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
