# Status Save vs WhatStatHD

Status Save and WhatStatHD both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WhatStatHD's written reviews are positive against 43% of Status Save's. WhatStatHD also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Status Save's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 7) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Status Save sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and WhatStatHD sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Status Save against 4.4 for WhatStatHD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Status Save has 52 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Status Save's written reviews are positive against 100% of WhatStatHD's.

Status Save ships an update every 2 months, WhatStatHD every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
