# VIP智库 vs Tripos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tripos at every 2 months against VIP智库's every 7 months. Tripos also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VIP智库 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Tripos sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VIP智库 ships an update every 7 months, Tripos every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
