# RaceChip+ vs Motion for Audi connect

The clearest difference is rating: Motion for Audi connect at 4.0 against RaceChip+'s 3.1. Motion for Audi connect also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 81) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). RaceChip+'s advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Motion for Audi connect holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motion for Audi connect has 1.9K ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of RaceChip+'s written reviews are positive against 30% of Motion for Audi connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RaceChip+ ships an update every 2 months, Motion for Audi connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
