# Text Me Out vs NIPSCO

The clearest difference is price: NIPSCO at Free against Text Me Out's $14.99. NIPSCO also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 7) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Text Me Out's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 31%) and chart position (#178 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

NIPSCO is free to download; Text Me Out costs $14.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NIPSCO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NIPSCO has 26K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Text Me Out's written reviews are positive against 31% of NIPSCO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Text Me Out ships an update every 3 months, NIPSCO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
