# TOR Browser vs AlphaScout

The clearest difference is device support: TOR Browser at 4 against AlphaScout's 2. TOR Browser also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOR Browser sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and AlphaScout sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
