# SafireDNS vs Cable VPN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SafireDNS at none against Cable VPN's 9. SafireDNS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Cable VPN's advantage is ratings volume (726 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cable VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. SafireDNS asks for nothing beyond the download.

SafireDNS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cable VPN has 726 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
