# TouchDirector vs LiveApp Pro

The clearest difference is price: LiveApp Pro at $49.99 against TouchDirector's $69.99. LiveApp Pro also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). TouchDirector's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

TouchDirector costs $69.99 and LiveApp Pro $49.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveApp Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 17 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of TouchDirector's written reviews are positive against 50% of LiveApp Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TouchDirector ships an update every 6 weeks, LiveApp Pro every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
