# Flixchat vs Loopsy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Loopsy at 100% against Flixchat's 33%. Loopsy also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 78 months). Flixchat's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flixchat sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Loopsy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flixchat holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flixchat has 32 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Flixchat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Loopsy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flixchat ships an update every 78 months, Loopsy every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
