# HomeWizard Climate vs App Lock

HomeWizard Climate and App Lock both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of App Lock's written reviews are positive against 29% of HomeWizard Climate's. HomeWizard Climate's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. HomeWizard Climate asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeWizard Climate holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 63 and 54 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of HomeWizard Climate's written reviews are positive against 80% of App Lock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
