# Lulus vs VICI

Lulus and VICI both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of VICI's written reviews are positive against 47% of Lulus's. VICI also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). Lulus's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (59K vs 9.6K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lulus against 5.0 for VICI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lulus has 59K ratings behind it against 9.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of Lulus's written reviews are positive against 94% of VICI's.

Lulus ships an update monthly, VICI every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
