# SViewImageEx vs Join

The clearest difference is update cadence: Join at every 2 months against SViewImageEx's every 7 months. SViewImageEx's advantage is iOS requirement (10.1 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SViewImageEx ships an update every 7 months, Join every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
