# Scorcher vs Fly Trapper!

The clearest difference is price: Fly Trapper! at Free against Scorcher's $2.99. Fly Trapper! also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 63%). Scorcher's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Fly Trapper! is free to download; Scorcher costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scorcher holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scorcher has 46 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Scorcher's written reviews are positive against 75% of Fly Trapper!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scorcher ships an update every 6 days, Fly Trapper! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
