# Whoo Intercom vs Proper Cannabis

The clearest difference is monetization model: Whoo Intercom at free against Proper Cannabis's free with in-app purchases. Whoo Intercom also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 79%) and device support (3 vs 1). Proper Cannabis's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Proper Cannabis holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 297 and 1.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Whoo Intercom's written reviews are positive against 79% of Proper Cannabis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whoo Intercom ships an update every 6 weeks, Proper Cannabis fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
