# Dailyrapp vs Universal+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dailyrapp at 67% against Universal+'s 5%. Dailyrapp also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Universal+'s advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (142 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Universal+ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Universal+ has 142 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Dailyrapp's written reviews are positive against 5% of Universal+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dailyrapp ships an update every 3 weeks, Universal+ every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
