# Draw it vs PictureIt

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Draw it at 565K against PictureIt's 394. PictureIt's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (44% vs 28%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw it sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days and PictureIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Draw it against 4.5 for PictureIt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Draw it has 565K ratings behind it against 394, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of Draw it's written reviews are positive against 44% of PictureIt's.

Draw it ships an update every 2 months, PictureIt every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
