# Draw it vs Draw a Line Around

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Draw a Line Around at 100% against Draw it's 28%. Draw it's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (565K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw it sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days and Draw a Line Around sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Draw it holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Draw it has 565K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Draw it's written reviews are positive against 100% of Draw a Line Around's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Draw it ships an update every 2 months, Draw a Line Around every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
