# James Ascher vs Maisonette

James Ascher and Maisonette both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of James Ascher's written reviews are positive against 64% of Maisonette's. James Ascher also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Maisonette's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 17). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for James Ascher against 4.9 for Maisonette. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maisonette has 2.8K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of James Ascher's written reviews are positive against 64% of Maisonette's.
