# Bracket Master vs Bracket Builder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bracket Master at none against Bracket Builder's 4. Bracket Master also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 49%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Bracket Builder's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bracket Builder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Bracket Master asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bracket Builder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bracket Builder has 2.6K ratings behind it against 118, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Bracket Master's written reviews are positive against 49% of Bracket Builder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bracket Master ships an update every 3 weeks, Bracket Builder weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
