# GolfNow Compete vs Settle Up Golf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Settle Up Golf at 100% against GolfNow Compete's 45%. Settle Up Golf also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). GolfNow Compete's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Settle Up Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. GolfNow Compete asks for nothing beyond the download.

GolfNow Compete holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfNow Compete has 5.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of GolfNow Compete's written reviews are positive against 100% of Settle Up Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
