# Iced In vs Minesweeper Classic Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Iced In at 100% against Minesweeper Classic Widget's 38%. Iced In also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Minesweeper Classic Widget's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (69 vs 13). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iced In sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Minesweeper Classic Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minesweeper Classic Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minesweeper Classic Widget has 69 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Iced In's written reviews are positive against 38% of Minesweeper Classic Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Iced In ships an update every 3 days, Minesweeper Classic Widget every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
