# DrawPlan vs Home Design

The clearest difference is rating: DrawPlan at 3.5 against Home Design's 1.0. DrawPlan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrawPlan sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Home Design sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawPlan holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrawPlan has 5.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DrawPlan ships an update every 5 days, Home Design every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
