# mPac by Paciolan vs Chptr

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chptr at 100% against mPac by Paciolan's 33%. Chptr also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (42 vs 5). mPac by Paciolan's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mPac by Paciolan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chptr has 42 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of mPac by Paciolan's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chptr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mPac by Paciolan ships an update every 2 months, Chptr every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
