# Fiends vs LEGO® Play

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fiends at 100% against LEGO® Play's 43%. Fiends also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). LEGO® Play's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 45 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fiends holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LEGO® Play has 13K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Fiends's written reviews are positive against 43% of LEGO® Play's.

Fiends ships an update every 45 months, LEGO® Play weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
