# Wicrypt vs Chirp Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Chirp Tracker at 4.3 against Wicrypt's 3.8. Chirp Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (21 vs 5). Wicrypt's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chirp Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Wicrypt's written reviews are positive against 92% of Chirp Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wicrypt ships an update every 3 weeks, Chirp Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
