# HJGT vs Wave VMS

The clearest difference is rating: Wave VMS at 5.0 against HJGT's 3.2. Wave VMS also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). HJGT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wave VMS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HJGT has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HJGT ships an update every 2 months, Wave VMS every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
