# Ecency vs FarmBuzz

Ecency and FarmBuzz both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FarmBuzz's written reviews are positive against 58% of Ecency's. FarmBuzz also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9). Ecency's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ecency sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. FarmBuzz asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ecency against 5.0 for FarmBuzz. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ecency has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Ecency's written reviews are positive against 100% of FarmBuzz's.

Ecency ships an update every 3 weeks, FarmBuzz fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
