# OVN Drive vs Kango Driver

The clearest difference is rating: OVN Drive at 4.7 against Kango Driver's 3.7. OVN Drive also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 6). Kango Driver's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OVN Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVN Drive has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of OVN Drive's written reviews are positive against 50% of Kango Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OVN Drive ships an update monthly, Kango Driver every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
