# Exprestive vs Perfect Pitch Challenge

The clearest difference is rating: Exprestive at 5.0 against Perfect Pitch Challenge's 4.0. Exprestive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Perfect Pitch Challenge's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 39 months) and ratings volume (851 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exprestive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Perfect Pitch Challenge sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exprestive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect Pitch Challenge has 851 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Exprestive ships an update every 39 months, Perfect Pitch Challenge every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
