# DayDay vs Routine Reminder

The clearest difference is rating: Routine Reminder at 5.0 against DayDay's 4.3. Routine Reminder also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). DayDay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (45 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Routine Reminder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Routine Reminder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayDay has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 74% and 75% positive.

DayDay ships an update every 3 weeks, Routine Reminder every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
