# Birthday Countdown vs Birthday Reminders Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Birthday Countdown at 8K against Birthday Reminders Tracker's 2. Birthday Countdown also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday Countdown sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Birthday Reminders Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birthday Reminders Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birthday Countdown has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Birthday Countdown ships an update weekly, Birthday Reminders Tracker every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
