# Learner's Permit Log Tracker vs Puff Count

The clearest difference is rating: Puff Count at 4.3 against Learner's Permit Log Tracker's 2.7. Puff Count also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 16). Learner's Permit Log Tracker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puff Count sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Learner's Permit Log Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Puff Count holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puff Count has 2.7K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Learner's Permit Log Tracker's written reviews are positive against 20% of Puff Count's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
