# YouSound vs Djooky

The clearest difference is rating: YouSound at 4.9 against Djooky's 3.4. YouSound also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 5). Djooky's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YouSound holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouSound has 81 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of YouSound's written reviews are positive against 100% of Djooky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouSound ships an update every 3 weeks, Djooky every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
