# Simple Date Wheel vs TempPro BBQ

The clearest difference is price: TempPro BBQ at Free against Simple Date Wheel's $0.99. TempPro BBQ also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (25K vs 10). Simple Date Wheel's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 54%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TempPro BBQ is free to download; Simple Date Wheel costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TempPro BBQ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TempPro BBQ has 25K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Simple Date Wheel's written reviews are positive against 54% of TempPro BBQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Date Wheel ships an update every 8 days, TempPro BBQ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
